Before - During - After

BEFORE
Simply put…Measure twice, cut once. One of the biggest pitfalls homeowners should be concerned with happens at the very beginning of the process, wrong measurements. At TRI-COASTAL our experienced Project Managers will take preliminary measurements for pricing purposes. But the devil is in the details. Before ordering materials your Project Manager and Crew Leader will revisit your home (outside only, your choice if you would like to participate) in order to insure the proper amount of materials are ordered. This is important for several reasons:
  • First, to insure there is enough material on site to insure no delays in completing the project without over ordering which drives costs up.

  • Second, one of the main reasons siding projects do not meet visual expectations when completed is due to under ordering of materials. When an insufficient amount of materials is ordered it is not uncommon for inferior installers to use small scraps to fill in gaps. This technique will leave the project with added unsightly seems and an overall unkept look.

  • Third, it is very important to insure everyone involved understands exactly what the customers expectations are (i.e. the job scope). Your Project Manager has an understanding of your expectations. While on site with your Crew Leader during the pre-construction measurement, your Project Manager and Crew Leader will go over the details of your job scope, assess any possible trouble areas and their solutions, and eliminate any possible misunderstandings and/or questions.

DURING
Just like windows, the walls of your home have an R-value. The R-value is the measure of an objects ability to withstand the transfer of energy (or heat). So the higher the R-value, the less amount of energy that can pass through that object over time. In other words, you want your walls to have a high R-value as it will help save on your energy bills and keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. While transforming your home our certified installers will pay close attention to details. One of their main concerns is to insure all small areas like corners, connection made between materials (i.e. where the siding meets your trim, windows, roof, etc.) are fully incapsulated. Attention to details like these are the difference between homes that are being protected from the elements and homes that appear to do so but actually allow damaging elements into the “bones” of the home with out detection.
The experience and training of our Installers gives us the confidence to back their workmanship with the warranties our customers deserve!!
AFTER
The exterior of your home not only provides a safe and secure environment for the rooms inside, it also establishes the style of your house. First impressions are always important, and you can set the tone for the rest of your property by carefully selecting exterior components that give your house a personality. Your finished roof, your home’s siding and well-chosen architectural details add curb appeal, make guests feel welcome and create a defined look. Once work has completed, your Project Manager will schedule a “Walk Around” with you. At that time you can inspect, ask any question, deal with any concerns. We are not finished until you are happy. If there are any issues they will be dealt with in a timely fashion before final payment is due. If your not satisfied we’re not finished!!
